The Nexus of Design Thinking and Intrapreneurship: Insights from a large-scale empirical assessment

Although the nexus of Design Thinking (DT) and corporate entrepreneurship is heralded to be promising, concrete compositional architecture how DT manifests in practice has received limited scholarly attention. Drawing on argument that can facilitate intrapreneurial innovation as it enables effectual cognition, we developed a multidimensional assessment model measures for an organizational context applied via online survey 547 organizations different sizes industries. An analysis dimensional sub-dimensional values obtained from quantitative data general, with regard industry firm size types detail, enriches our understanding DT’s manifestation practice. We provide practitioners useful tool assess, benchmark, plan, analyze, communicate use innovation, guide future researchers seeking practitioner-relevant insights nine propositions derived observations.
